As I looked at the Bible text for today’s inspiration. I thought about the basic knowledge that we need to be successful in our day to day lives. It appears to me, and I am sure is no surprise to you that most of what we need to know to be successful we have learned before we have entered kindergarten.

I haven’t thought about this until the last seven years when my children have blessed me with the opportunity to be grandpa. And God has blessed me richly! Eight grandchildren ranging in age now from 3 months to 7 years. They are fun and loud to have around the house as the opportunity arises.

And teaching them is an honor. Helping to teach them to love God and to help them learn the tremendous power of God’s presence in their lives, is a joy. To experience their unquestioning faith and confidence is inspirationally viral. You cannot leave them without being energized, or happily exhausted.

I am amazed that I have had to work as hard as I have to rediscover the source of joy, happiness, abundance and freedom, that these children are blessed to have in them.

It is my prayer for us that we acknowledge our love of God and gratefully accept His gracious gifts of knowledge and wisdom along with His saving grace through our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ.

Accept God’s gifts of grace, mercy, peace and prosperity to you and your house and thrive in all your endeavors.

May the peace that surpasses all understanding keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Please take a minute to hit reply and say “Amen” or “Hi” and let me know what you think about today’s meditation.

If you have a prayer request or a thought on how I could make improvements. Leave a comment, I will do my best to get back to you.
